THE CAT'S MIAOW + MANNONE ALONE
Beloved indie pop band from the 90s, The Cat's Miaow are making a very special, rare appearance on the Tramway stage.
The Cat’s Miaow started out in 1992 home-recording on four-track. the quartet spent the next five years quietly, slowly working away recording gem after gem of independent pop. Like many of their Australian or peers – The Particles, Even As We Speak, The Cannanes, the Sugargliders – The Cat’s Miaow were more successful overseas.
With the success of the vinyl reissues of the bands back catalog by English label, World of Echo the Cat's Miaow are again recording and occasionally, playing live.
Also joining the stage is Monnone Alone. Comprised of Mark Monnone (formerly of The Lucksmiths) with a band that may or may not include Joe Foley, Louis Richter, Gus Franklin and Stanley Paulzen.

If someone needs the wheelchair entrance before the back gate is open for the gig, please ask the staff for assistance and they'll happily give access to the back entrance. The wheelchair accessible toilet can be found via the ramp, just near the point of entry at the back gate. All our toilets are gender neutral. Unfortunately, there are no change trays available. The stage has a 30cm step and the venue does not have any flashing lights. Tramway aims to be an inclusive space for all, so if you have any additional queries please just ask at the venue or email tramway@tramwayhotel.com.au. Xoxo
